Dr. Shannon Sura grew up in Pennsylvania where she started working as a veterinary technician when she was sixteen. She continued working in the field of veterinary medicine and veterinary clinical pathology throughout her schooling. She graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1998 with a degree in biology. She then went on to graduate from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grafton, Massachusetts in 2002. For the next three years she worked as an associate veterinarian at Paradise Pet Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dr. Sura spent the last year working at VCA Spring Mountain Animal Hospital, also in Las Vegas, before purchasing Family Pet Hospital in South Scottsdale in November of 2006. You will find her a hardworking, knowledgeable, and compassionate veterinarian, always putting her patients first.

Hi my name is Juliana. I’m a veterinary technician at Family Pet Hospital. I have three adorable dogs who make up my family. Foster is a five-year-old Labrador who goes nuts for a tennis ball. My crazy two-year-old Weimaraner & Pointer mix is named KC. Last, but not least, Phoebe is my little ten-year-old Chihuahua.
