Here at Family Pet Hospital we offer a wide array of soft tissue surgeries. We can perform spays, neuter, declaws, mass removals, abdominal exploratory, bladder stone removal and hernia repair, just to name a few. All pets undergoing anesthesia have an IV catheter placed and receive a progressive pain management protocol. If your pet is under the age of 4, you can opt to have bloodwork done and have IV fluids administered. If your pet is over the age of 4, both are required. In addition, pets are kept on a warm water blanket while under anesthesia. Last, pets are continuously monitored by veterinary technicians.
